Wine tasting of Spaccasassi Moro di Matera D.O.C. 2014 of Tenuta Parco dei Monaci

A completely new and excellent red wine for the region.

Let us taste the red italian wine Spaccasassi

The name of Spaccasassi comes from the local dialect and stand for a tree (the hackberry), which has such a strong instinct for survival that it can even break up stones with its roots. The name also tells us that it is a powerful and long-lasting wine, a very intense ruby red in colour. It offers a bouquet of fresh fruit, with notes of rosemary and tobacco, boasting an intense but elegant body with well-balanced tannins after macerating on the skins for 6/7 weeks. A completely new and excellent red wine for the regional panorama.
