The Cantina Tenuta Parco dei Monaci will be present at the 55th edition of Vinitaly, the international wine and spirits trade fair that will be held in Verona from April 2 to 5. The winery will be hosted in Pavilion F dedicated to MICRO MEGA WINES, an exhibition area reserved for some of the best Italian productions characterized by wines with small production volumes, born from unique grape varieties and terroirs.
During the event, Tenuta Parco dei Monaci will present its range of wines including the Primitivo di Matera DOC “Monacello”, the Rosato di Matera DOC “Rosapersempre” and the Moro di Matera DOC “Spaccasassi”. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste the fine wines of the winery and discover their distinctive characteristics.
Vinitaly is an eagerly anticipated event for enthusiasts in the wine industry and wine market operators, an important showcase for companies that want to present their productions to end consumers and industry professionals.
Tenuta Parco dei Monaci invites all interested parties to visit its stand at Vinitaly in the Micro Mega Wines pavilion, from April 2 to 5, 2023, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
The 2019 vintage of the Spaccasassi wine, which will be released in 2023 after aging for four years (the canonical two years in wooden barrels and two years in bottles), has been chosen by Vinitaly for the masterclass reserved for industry professionals, buyers, and journalists that will take place on April 4, 2023, at 10 am in the halls of Excellence. Consultant and supervisor in the aggregation of wineries will be Ian D’Agata, one of the top experts and greatest disseminators of Italian wine abroad, now director of the Terroir Sense Wine Review magazine. Together with Michele Longo, his longtime collaborator and known wine writer, Ian will narrate the story of these wines in dedicated masterclasses reserved for industry professionals, buyers, and journalists, providing an even more in-depth report on the work of the wineries and the characteristics of their wines and terroirs with his unmistakable style.
Micro Mega Wines is the new Vinitaly event that aims to celebrate the many small and large quality companies that represent the Italian richness in terms of cultivars and biodiversity of terroirs. Through niche productions with limited circulation that are irreplaceable, using unique autochthonous grapes and international grapes that express specific terroirs that exist only in Italy, Micro Mega Wines companies are true flag bearers of Made in Italy wine, impossible to reproduce outside national borders.
Ian D’Agata will guide you along with Michele Longo to discover some of the most unique wines in the world and the men and women who produce them.
