The tasting itinerary includes a glass of each of the estate’s three wines, all under the “Matera” DOC designation. It begins with Rosapersempre, a rosé always made from Primitivo grapes, bright, fresh and fragrant, with notes of jasmine and wild strawberries, perfect as an aperitif. Next comes Monacello, a single-varietal Primitivo di Matera, with an intense ruby red colour and aromas of black plum and morello cherry, warm and enveloping on the palate. The tasting concludes with Spaccasassi, an austere and complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Primitivo, aged in barrique, with elegant tannins and a spicy finish: a genuine wine tasting experience in Matera to be savoured slowly, glass by glass.
Our wine tasting is available Monday to Friday at our estate in Matera, in the morning slot from 9:00 to 12:00, lasting between 60 and 90 minutes: the ideal amount of time to visit the vineyards, step into the cellar and taste the three wines in an authentic setting, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immersed in the landscape of the Murgia materana.
